Terms and Conditions

As Cardinney caravan park is a quiet family run site we ask our visitors to read the following terms and conditions before making a booking so as to safeguard our guests enjoyment and safety as much as possible.

Booking Conditions

On making a booking with us you are entering into an agreement. We ask for a completed booking form to accompany your deposit. Upon receiving your booking form, a confirmation letter will be sent out and this should be checked carefully for any discrepancies. Please be aware that the balance for the entire length of stay must be paid on arrival. It is regretted that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday. We are unable to give any refunds unless in extreme circumstances and are unable to refund any advance deposit.

Payment may be made by credit/debit card, cheque (with a guarantee card) or cash.

We will not accept bookings from all male or all female parties of four or more persons as we cater for families and couples. Neither will we accept any bookings from persons under the age of 21 years.

On Your Arrival

We ask guests not to arrive before 1.00 p.m. as their pitch may not be free (unless by prior arrangement). We ask people to vacate the pitch by 11 a.m., but we do like to ensure the grass is mowed if possible before the next visitors arrive.

We are unable to accept late arrivals after 9 p.m. Please advise us if your arrival time is delayed for any reason.

Our Request to Our Visitors

We request noise is kept to a minimum on site in consideration of other visitors; no musical instruments are to be played on site and radios are to be used quietly. We ask noise to be kept to a minimum after 10 p.m. Please note that parents and guardians are reminded that they are still responsible for the actions of their children even though they are on holiday, and are asked to keep them under supervision.

We do not provide a childcare service.

Any damage or disturbance caused will result in your being asked to leave immediately.

We will not tolerate mindless acts of vandalism, we ask people to respect their surroundings and the work and effort that have gone in to making the park as attractive as possible. We will ask guests to leave immediately if any damage occurs and you will also be liable for any costs for repair.

We cannot allow kites to be flown on site as they may cause damage to tents or caravans on their descent! We do allow soft ball games to be played on site provided they are away from any occupied pitches.

Dog owners are requested to keep their dogs on a leash at all times on the park and are asked to exercise off site. Please ensure that any mess is cleaned up immediately for the health and safety of others. Dogs must not be left on site unattended at any time; we do not provide a kennel facility. We accept no more than 3 dogs per party.

Please use the large green bins on site for your rubbish (these are located in the middle of the field opposite the dish washing sink). Do not leave litter lying around. Glass, paper and aluminium cans should be placed in the clearly marked recycling bins. Please help us to look after the environment.

Finally we ask our visitors to try and observe a 5 M.P.H. speed limit on the site, especially on entering as there may be children playing.

All of our pitches are individually marked by hedging and shrubs. They are a minimum of 80 sq. m. most are 100 sq. m. Therefore they are large enough to accommodate a caravan with awning and the towing car parked adjacent and still provide the necessary space for a firebreak. Any tent over the size of 7 x 4 metres is likely to require a double pitch and the charge for this will be applied. We ask people if possible not to bring multiple vehicles on to the site as you will not be able to accommodate these on your pitch. We have very limited parking. You will be shown to your allocated pitch on arrival. This is determined at the time of your booking and on your party/unit size.
